Abner Perez moving forward

This past Tuesday, May 21, was another meaningful step forward in the missionary journey of Abner Perez in Tijuana.

What a joy to spend time together encouraging him in the exploration of his vocations to preach the Gospel, serve Christ’s Church, and continue discerning the path God may be opening before him through seminary formation and pastoral ministry.

These conversations are always holy ground — moments of listening, mentoring, prayer, and dreaming together about what God might do through willing hearts.

We were also thankful for the opportunity to connect Abner with Pastor Les Schefer from St. James Lutheran Church, continuing to build relationships and partnerships that strengthen mission work on both sides of the border.

Please keep Abner in your prayers as he continues to seek wisdom, clarity, and boldness in following the Lord’s calling.

The harvest is plentiful. The Lord is still calling workers into His mission field.
