Sending Prayer for Marcelo & Kelly

Sunday September 28 was a special day for mission and partnership!

At both services at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Pacific Beach, Pastor Nathan Hausch and the congregation formally welcomed Brazilian missionaries Marcelo and Kelly. The church has now entered into partnership to bless and support the vibrant Brazilian ministry they have been faithfully leading here in San Diego.

During worship, Pastor Nathan prayed over Marcelo and Kelly and presented them with a meaningful gift—a Portuguese Concordia Lutheran Study Bible—as a sign of encouragement and unity in Christ.

This beautiful connection was made possible through the work of the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego, helping churches and missionaries come together to share the Gospel across cultures and communities.

We give thanks to God for this new partnership and for the ongoing mission among the Brazilian community in San Diego!
