15th Gathering Dinner Missionaries

On October 20th we gathered once again — our 15th Missionary Gathering Dinner — this time hosted by our friends at Victory Lutheran Church in Chula Vista.

It was a beautiful evening to reconnect with our missionary family, welcome new friends into the circle, share updates, celebrate stories, give thanks, and pray together.

We also had the joy of celebrating the conclusion of the Mission Accelerator program, which recently equipped 14 leaders for mission in their communities. In addition, we rejoiced in the recognition given to the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego at the Loved & Sent Summit, where we received a generous donation that will help further the mission.

A heartfelt thank you to Victory Lutheran Church for their hospitality, to Pastor Tim Gerdes for opening the evening with God’s Word, cooking for us and his team for hosting us with such kindness and care.

We left encouraged, united, and reminded once again that God’s mission continues to move forward — through His people, in San Diego and beyond.
