Ordination & Installation Pastor Dawa Dawa

A joyful day for God’s mission!

Sunday November 2, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, we celebrated the ordination and installation of Rev. Dawa Jarso Dawa. He will serve as pastor of the Oromo congregation that meets at Our Redeemer, continuing to shepherd God’s people in their heart language and culture.

Rev. Dawa is also part of the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego, and we are thankful to see how God is using his gifts to strengthen the mission here. Several friends, missionaries, and members of our team were present to support, pray for, and celebrate this special moment with him.

It was a beautiful service—filled with Scripture, prayer, blessing, and the joy of Christ’s promise to His Church. Please keep Rev. Dawa, his family, and the Oromo congregation in your prayers as they begin this new chapter of ministry.
