A New Mission Is Born at Camp Pendleton

On May 13, I had the joy of sitting down with Jake Jackson, a faithful servant from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Oceanside, who shared about his first missionary experience as part of a new ministry at Camp Pendleton. Alongside fellow elder Bill Nielsen, Jake stepped into a powerful opportunity to encourage and pray with young Marine recruits—many of them far from home—on what was a very emotional day: Mother’s Day.

They came to bring a message of hope, and they found hearts ready to receive. We are deeply grateful to Michael Morabe, a missionary with CRU, for opening the door to this ministry and welcoming our volunteers with such love and vision.

This is just the beginning. Join us in praying for this new outreach to grow as we walk with those preparing to serve our country—and point them to the One who gave His life for all.
