Faithful Servants, Lifelong Mission

Meet Pastors Bill and Tom—two faithful servants who have dedicated their lives to the church, including right here in San Diego. Even in retirement, their passion for ministry has not faded. They continue to serve in their local congregations and step in to support neighboring churches whenever needed.

More importantly, they remain deeply engaged in the mission work happening in our region. Through prayer, connections, encouragement, and mentoring, they’ve strengthened leaders and supported the work of the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego. Their commitment is an inspiration—proof that mission work doesn’t end with retirement; it simply takes new forms.

Bill and Tom are just two examples of many retired pastors and leaders who have chosen to stand with us in sharing the Gospel and serving our communities. We are grateful for their ongoing partnership and for the many ways they bless the mission.
