Full Circle: Sharing the Mission at Christ Lutheran, La Mesa

On March 26, the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego had the incredible opportunity to share about our work with the congregation of Christ Lutheran Church, La Mesa during their midweek Lent gathering.

Pastor Tardelli Voss was interviewed by Pastor Travis Ferguson, Senior Pastor of Christ Lutheran, sharing the story of his calling, the founding of the Mission Society, and the ongoing work we’re doing in San Diego and Tijuana. We also explored ways congregations and individuals can partner with us in God’s mission.

This evening was extra special as it brought back memories of the installation of Pastor Voss as Director of the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego, which took place at Christ Lutheran Church La Mesa just over three years ago—truly a milestone in our journey.

We also want to express our deep gratitude:
To Christ Lutheran Church La Mesa for believing in the vision of the Mission Society and generously supporting us from the very beginning.
To Pastor Travis Ferguson, whose faithful service as secretary of the Lutheran Mission Society helped lay the foundation for everything we do today. Though he has stepped down from that role, we are thankful for his continued friendship, support, and commitment to the mission.

Conversations from last night are already bearing fruit, with members exploring ways to join our family of missionaries and serve in the mission field right here in San Diego. God is moving, and we are so grateful to be in this work together!
