Graduation Milestones for Pastors Job Jiménez and Dawa Jarso
On May 24, we had double the joy as we celebrated the graduation of two dear brothers in Christ who have dedicated their lives to the service of the Gospel.
We give thanks to God for Pastor Job Jiménez Tejeda, who graduated with a degree in Theology from Concordia Seminary El Reformador in the Dominican Republic. Though already ordained and faithfully serving for the past two years, this day marked the joyful completion of his formal theological education. We celebrate this milestone and his continued leadership within the Lutheran Church of Mexico.
We also rejoiced with Pastor Dawa Jarso Dawa, Oromo church planter in San Diego at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, who graduated from the Ethnic Immigrant Institute of Theology (EIIT) at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Pastor Dawa has been a faithful witness of Christ’s love among immigrant communities, and we gave glory to God for this important step in his journey as a shepherd of God’s people.
These two graduations represented more than diplomas—they were reminders that God continues to call, equip, and send His servants into the world with hope, truth, and compassion.
Let us celebrate with gratitude and continue to pray for these men as they proclaim Christ boldly in their communities.
