Ministry Spotlight: Brown Bag Ministry

At the recent LWML Sunshine Zone Rally, we were blessed to witness Kaleena Christensen and Eleanora Moeller share their hearts and vision for a powerful outreach to the homeless in San Diego.

Their new initiative, the Brown Bag Ministry, brings practical care and the love of Christ through simple meals and personal connection. It’s a beautiful example of faith in action — young women stepping up to serve the “least of these” with compassion and consistency.

The Lutheran Mission Society is honored to support and walk alongside this effort, and we’re inviting local churches to partner with us and with Kaleena and Eleanora to expand this ministry even further.
