Mission in Every Tongue and Tribe!

This weekend, the Lutheran Mission Society San Diego had the joy of visiting the Oromo Ministry at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in San Diego. It was a blessing to worship with our brothers and sisters, hear God’s Word faithfully preached by Missionary Pastor Dawa Dawa, and witness the vibrant faith of this community.

As Missionary Director, I went to encourage — and came away encouraged. Pastor Dawa continues to shepherd this community with heart and vision. And what’s even more exciting: God is raising up new leaders from within! Pastor Dawa introduced us to a emerging leader from this church who shows great potential to serve as a missionary right here in San Diego.
