The Brown Bag Project Launches!
On August 2, at Hope Lutheran Church, volunteers from various places gathered for our very first Brown Bag Project—assembling care bags filled with nonperishable items and encouragement to share with our homeless neighbors whenever the opportunity arises.
This beautiful ministry is led by Kaleena and Eleanora, two missionaries with big hearts and a simple desire—to make a difference. For them, this was their very first initiative to reach out to a community so deeply in need. Watching them carefully fill each bag, you could see the joy of giving and the hope of helping someone they may never meet.
This is what the Brown Bag Project is all about: ordinary people, taking simple steps, and trusting God to use it in extraordinary ways.
