Dreaming Gospel Work in Encinitas
What a joy to be at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Encinitas on Sunday February 15!
The Lutheran Mission Society San Diego was invited to preach during worship and share about the mission work happening across San Diego County and in Tijuana. More than a presentation, it was the beginning of a conversation — about raising up missionaries, developing new ministries, and reaching more people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are deeply thankful to Pastor Augie Iadicicco and the leadership of St. Mark’s for the warm welcome, the trust, and the openness to dream together about what God might do next.
LMSSD is committed to serving the 35 Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod congregations in San Diego County. By God’s grace, we have already been able to walk alongside several of them in strengthening, planting, and renewing ministries. We hope and pray that St. Mark’s will soon be another partner in this shared mission.
Please pray that God would show the way — how to establish, strengthen, and expand Gospel work in Encinitas and beyond.
The harvest is plentiful. Lord, send workers.
